Receptionist Annual Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience)

St Albans Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Join a Top 50 accountancy practice recognised as one of the top 100 Great Places to Work. We are looking for a motivated and organised Receptionist to enhance our front of house operations in St Albans.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop a career in a professional setting, providing exceptional client service and administrative support. Day-to-day of the role:
Greet and assist visitors in a professional manner. Handle all incoming calls with professionalism and efficiency. Perform general reception duties such as booking couriers, ordering lunches, and managing incoming and outgoing mail. Input archive data and assist in transitioning to paperless archiving. Manage client records and ensure the safekeeping of client documents. Maintain meeting rooms and prepare refreshments for client meetings.

Assist with general administration across various departments as needed. Engage in diary management, drafting correspondence, and supporting HR and Learning & Development teams. Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Minimum of three years’ professional experience in a receptionist or front of house role, or experience in hospitality or retail with customer-facing responsibilities. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Experience with CCH or similar Document Management System is desirable but not essential. Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to multitask, prioritise, and maintain a high degree of attention to detail. Proactive and self-reliant, with the ability to work effectively in a team. Benefits: 25 days holiday.
