Experienced Mechanic – Full Time – Poole

💰 £38,000 (DOE) | 🕐 45 hours (Mon–Fri 8:30–18:00) | 🚫 No Weekends or Bank Holidays

Are you an experienced mechanic looking for a rewarding full‑time role with a great work‑life balance? We’re recruiting for a skilled mechanic to join a well‑established independent workshop in Poole following the retirement of a long‑serving member of staff after 20 years.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about vehicle maintenance and mechanical repair, and wants to work with a trusted team that values quality workmanship and customer service.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a key member of the workshop team you’ll be responsible for:
🔧 General mechanical repairs on a variety of vehicles
🔩 Brake, clutch and suspension work
🛠️ Cambelts, timing chains and engine maintenance
🔍 Diagnostics and fault‑finding
🚘 Routine servicing and vehicle inspections
📋 Supporting a busy workshop workflow

This role isn’t necessarily a “technician” title — it’s geared towards someone with real hands‑on mechanical skill and experience, with qualifications preferred but practical ability valued highly.
