Vehicle Service Technician

Position Overview

Halfords, the UK’s largest automotive service, maintenance and repair business, is looking for a Vehicle Service Technician. In this role you will carry out interim, full and major services, as well as follow‑up repair and replacement work. Work includes tyres, brakes, transmission, steering, suspension and other components.

• Base salary: £33,830 per annum
• On-target earnings up to £38,330
• Uncapped monthly bonus scheme – average monthly earnings of £4,500 per year

• Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, or relevant experience
• Full driver's licence with no more than 9 points
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair and replacement work (e.g., brakes, suspension, steering component replacement, air‑con service)
