Vehicle Dismantler​/Mechanic

Mechanic or Vehicle Technician looking for something different? If you know your way around a car, can confidently remove engines, gearboxes and vehicle components, and enjoy practical hands-on work, this could be a great move away from the traditional garage environment.

Team Jobs are recruiting for a Vehicle Dismantler to join a growing automotive recycling business in Poole.

You do NOT need previous vehicle dismantling experience. We're keen to hear from Mechanics, Vehicle Technicians, MET Technicians, Strip Fitters or anyone with strong hands-on automotive experience.

• £32,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am - 5:00pm
• No weekends
• Permanent opportunity

• Dismantling vehicles and removing reusable parts and components
• Removing engines, gearboxes, suspension, body panels and other mechanical parts
• Using your own hand tools alongside workshop equipment and power tools
• Identifying vehicle components and removing them without causing unnecessary damage
• Working efficiently to daily targets
• Maintaining a safe and organised working area

• Previous experience as a Mechanic, Vehicle Technician, MET Technician, Strip Fitter or similar
• Good mechanical knowledge of cars and vehicle components
• Confident removing and replacing vehicle parts
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Own tools required
• Practical, hands-on and happy working in a fast-paced environment

This could be ideal if you're currently working in a garage, dealership, bodyshop or workshop and fancy using your mechanical skills in a completely different environment.

£32k. Monday-Friday. No weekends. Permanent role.
