Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor – Dorset & Hampshire

We’re looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing, forward-thinking house building business operating across Dorset and Hampshire.

Working closely with the Construction Management and Site Teams, and reporting to and supporting the Commercial Manager, you’ll play a key role in the tendering, procurement, and commercial management of projects spanning housing, apartments, and Section 278 works.

This is a site and office-based role offering real variety, responsibility, and the chance to be part of a collaborative, well-run team.

The Role

* Package tendering and procurement of materials

* Sub-contract package placement

* Managing and valuing sub-contractor accounts

* Close liaison with site and construction management teams

* Reporting to and supporting the Commercial Manager

* Commercial oversight across multiple live projects

About You

* Proven QS experience within residential housing and apartment schemes

* Knowledge of Section 278 works and associated agreements

* Exposure to JCT Design & Build contracts (desirable, not essential)

* Strong communication and organisational skills

* Full UK driving licence
