Position: Receptionist (6 Month Fixed-Term)

RECEPTIONIST (6 MONTH FTC)

Marina Developments Ltd is the UK's leading marina operator. Poole, Cobbs Quay Marina is a busy and high‑profile visitor destination. We aim to deliver the highest level of service and experience for our visitors and customers, demanding the very best from ourselves whilst working as a team every day.

The Role Will Include (but not limited to)
  • Provide a meet and greet service to all members and visitors.
  • Act as receptionist, sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Provide support to the Administration team and ensure a strict debt control policy is in operation.
  • Ensure the telephone is answered in the correct and timely manner.
  • Ensure all customer enquiries are dealt with both promptly and efficiently.
  • Provide a concierge service to customers, including taxi, restaurant and visitor berth bookings and arrange Dock Master trolley assistance when necessary.
  • Assist in actively marketing and promoting the marina and associated services.
  • Maintain the security of the site.
  • Carry out all duties in line with company policies, particularly focused on compliance with H&S and Customer Service standards.
The key requirements for this role are (but not limited to)
  • A proactive approach to customer service and any issues arising, adopted with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
  • Place our customers at the center of all our business practices, ensuring outstanding customer care at all points of contact.
  • Ensure you are in the correct uniform and that it is clean, presentable, and well maintained at all times.
  • All dealings with team members are carried out professionally, politely, and respectfully.
  • Place the customer at the forefront of your daily duties and ensure excellence in customer service and customer experience is achieved at all times.
  • Deliver operational process and systems in accordance with the quality management systems of the MDL Way.
