About Sunseeker International

Sunseeker was founded on a bold vision: to create a new kind of yacht and redefine what was possible on the water. From our earliest designs in 1967, we’ve pushed boundaries and reshaped the motor yacht industry through innovation, craftsmanship and relentless ambition.

At the heart of every Sunseeker lies a legacy of expert hands and meticulous attention to detail, skills refined and passed down through generations. These are the qualities that set our yachts apart - and the qualities that continue to drive our craft today.

In a world increasingly defined by automation, we remain committed to building hand-crafted, hand-finished boats. With over 1,800 talented team members across our busy shipyards - from long‑serving specialists to more than 180 apprentices - our Sunseeker workforce reflects the strength, diversity and pride of our local community. It’s this blend of heritage, skill and passion that makes our shipyards unlike any other place in the world.

Who

We Are Seeking

We are looking for a creative, detail‑driven Interior Design and Development Designer to join our renowned in-house Design Office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for luxury interiors, exceptional cabinetry/furniture design skills, and an interest in bringing world‑class yacht interiors to life.

You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborating closely with designers, engineers, production teams, and suppliers to deliver beautifully crafted, production‑ready interior design solutions. Experience in marine interiors is advantageous, but strong transferable design and manufacturing knowledge is equally valued.

A Day in the Life

No two days are the same  day you may be developing a concept brief and transforming it into a full design pack; the next, supporting production teams on the shop floor to ensure your designs translate seamlessly into the finished yachts.

You’ll work with Siemens NX and Teamcenter to create high‑quality 3D models, cabin drawings, and build packs, collaborate with suppliers, review design changes, and help maintain accuracy across BoMs and technical documentation. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our interiors are not only stunning but also engineered for efficient manufacture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop interior concepts through to completed, production‑ready design packs for both existing models and bespoke projects.
  • Produce high‑quality build packs, including cabin drawings, using Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
  • Incorporate standard components where possible and apply "Design for Manufacture" principles.
  • Implement design updates through DCR/ECR/QIP processes.
  • Support Sunseeker Production, suppliers, and contractors with technical problem‑solving and cost/time reduction initiatives.
  • Coordinate design corrections and ensure all updates are communicated effectively across departments.
  • Upload and maintain all relevant design pack documentation in SAP.
  • Ensure Bill of Materials (BoMs) remain accurate and up to date in collaboration with the Planning team.
  • Maintain departmental documentation, including Master Drawing Lists and technical specifications.
  • Work to established Design Office procedures and best working practices.
To Be Considered for This Job You Should
  • Hold a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Industrial Design, or a related discipline – or possess equivalent industry experience.
  • Have strong experience in cabinetry and furniture design (essential).
  • Ideally bring experience in interior design and build processes within the marine industry.
  • Have knowledge of yacht or powered craft design/manufacture (beneficial).
  • Understand project planning and supply chain processes (advantageous).
  • Be proficient in 3D design software, ideally Siemens NX, with excellent CAD…
