We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated doctor to join our friendly and supportive team for 6sessions a week.
The Hadleigh Practice is situated across two purpose-built sites, one at Corfe Mullen and the other in Broadstone, both with easy access to Poole and Wimborne. We offer our patients a high quality service,whilst supporting a good work life balance for our team, with high levels ofstaff retention.
Main duties of the jobThepost-holder will manage a patient list and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
About usWe have just over 20,000patients and our clinical team includes 9 partners, 8 salaried GPs, plus ANPs,pharmacists and an excellent practice nurse team. We are part of Poole North
PCN, which also allows us to offer a wide variety of additional services to our patients. We are a training practice and support a number of registrars at any given time.
The clinical team at The Practice is supported by an experienced Management team, along with IT,Reception and Admin teams which ensure that administration for the doctors isminimised and assisted as much as possible.

Primary Responsibilities
The following are the core responsibilities of the salaried GP. There may be on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels:
Confidentiality:
- In the course of seeking treatment, patients entrust us with, or allow us to gather, sensitive information in relation to their health and other matters. They do so in confidence and have the right to expect that staff will respect their privacy and act appropriately.
- In the performance of the duties outlined in this Job Description, the post-holder may have access to confidential information relating to patients and their carers, practice staff and other healthcare workers. They may also have access to information relating to the practice as a business organisation. All such information from any source is to be regarded as strictly confidential.
- Information relating to patients, carers, colleagues, other healthcare workers or the business of the practice may only be divulged to authorised persons in accordance with the practice policies and procedures relating to confidentiality and the protection of personal and sensitive data.
Health & Safety:
The post-holder will assist in promoting and maintaining their own and others health, safety and security as defined in the practice Health & Safety Policy, to include:
- Using personal security systems within the workplace according to practice guidelines
- Identifying the risks involved in work activities and undertaking such activities in a way that manages those risks
- Making effective use of training to update knowledge and skills
- Using appropriate infection control procedures, maintaining work areas in a tidy and safe way and free from hazards
