The student is friendly, bubbly, and socially motivated, but currently finds learning challenging and may disengage when tasks feel overwhelming. She benefits most from calm, relationship‑led teaching, clear explanations, and an adult who can help rebuild her belief in herself as a learner.

  • Support emotional regulation and learner confidence
  • Build a positive, consistent relationship with the student
  • Work collaboratively with family and professionals
  • Complete brief session reports and feedback
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (e.g. PGCE)
  • Minimum 2 years’ teaching or tutoring experience
  • Strong experience supporting learners with SEN, particularly language and engagement needs
