1:1 Tutors Needed – Maths & English

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with local authorities to provide 1:1 tuition for pupils educated outside of mainstream settings (EOTAS). We’re seeking dedicated, patient tutors to deliver personalised Maths and English support across Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole, and surrounding areas
.

Many of the pupils you’ll support have SEND and/or SEMH needs and require a compassionate, tailored approach to learning.

Your role will be central in helping them re-engage with education through individualised catch-up programmes
. Most pupils are of secondary age, though they may be working below age-related expectations.

This role is ideal for teachers who value flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful impact
.

• £25–£30 per hour (PAYE)

• The opportunity to work closely with pupils who need your support most

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience
• A patient, compassionate approach and commitment to inclusive education
• Confidence delivering Maths and/or English sessions
• Experience supporting SEND or SEMH pupils (desirable, not essential)
• The ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs
