About the role
TEACH Poole Multi-Academy Trust has four schools:
Ad Astra Infant School, Haymoor Junior School, Canford Heath Infant School, and Canford Heath Junior School. All four schools are graded as good or outstanding by Ofsted. They are over‑subscribed, forward‑thinking, with supportive staff and fantastic children.
Salary Grade F (Point 12‑17) £28,598‑£31,022 pro‑rata (Actual Salary £15,458.38‑£16,768.65).
20 hours per week – 52 weeks per year.
Shift PatternWeek one: 7 am‑11 am
Week two: 2 pm‑6 pm
Permanent – required ASAP.
We are looking to recruit a new dedicated member of staff to join our Trust Estates team to work alongside the Estates Manager and caretakers across our four schools. The successful candidate will be employed by the Trust as a whole, and will work under the direction of the Estates Manager.
Responsibilities- Work within the Estates team to keep the school safe for our children and staff.
- Be responsible for maintaining the high standards of safety and appearance of the school and its grounds on a daily basis.
- Undertake general maintenance and work around the school to a high standard.
- Be responsible for locking and unlocking and the security of the school grounds.
- Keen, well‑organised and hard working.
- Work well in a team.
- Bring energy and enthusiasm to the role.
- Have experience or skills in general maintenance or craftmanship.
- Have a can‑do attitude to overcoming obstacles.
- Prepared to go above and beyond.
- Resilient and stamina.
- Fun, friendly and supportive staff who get on well together.

Experience of working within a school in a role such as this is desirable, but not essential.
