We wish to appoint an experienced and highly motivated HLTA to help and support our pupils. It is intended that the post holder will be required to support interventions, teacher’s management time, PPA and absence as well as undertake classroom support work on occasions. This is a challenging role and it is expected that the post holder will be:

• an existing HLTA or hold equivalent or higher qualifications
• able to lead and support other teaching assistants
• able to work across the entire 4 - 19 age range
• able to deliver, assess and report on lessons to a high standard in line with school policies and expectations and using school planning
• proactive in enhancing children's learning and skilled in helping children to progress in their learning
• able to make learning enjoyable and purposeful
• nurturing and caring
• have high expectations of children's behaviour
• an excellent team player
• enthusiastic about the role
