At Fresh Start in Education, you'll have the freedom to teach differently - building trust, confidence and a love of learning through personalised 1:1 support for young people who are currently out of education across Dorset.

• £25-£25 per hour (depending on experience).
• Travel subsidy and £15 resource allownace per session.
• Dedicated line manager and ongoing support from an experienced SEND team.
• Free wellbeing support, plus pension options.
• Flexible, term-time working. 3-5 hour daytime sessions.
• Bank Staff contract (PAYE). Both short and long-term opportunities.

• Deliver 1:1 or 2:1 personalised learning in homes or community settings.
• Plan creative sessions tailored to each learner's strengths, interests and goals.
• Support children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs
• Encourage confidence, resilience and positive engagement with learning.

• At least one year experience supporting young people with SEND, SEMH needs or other additional needs.
• Experience planning and delivering learning sessions, particularly around core subjects.
• Confidence using positive behaviour support, de-escalation and emotional regulation strategies
• Update to date safeguarding knowledge.
• Availability for at least two consistent weekdays.
