Nursery Practitioner / Teaching Assistant - Poole

Are you an experienced Nursery Practitioner or Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity?

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Nursery Practitioner / TA to join a friendly and supportive school setting in Poole, working within a nursery environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young children and wants to make a real difference to their learning, development and wellbeing.

The Role

You will be working as part of a supportive nursery team, helping to provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting children with their learning and development.
  • Helping deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities.
  • Providing support with daily nursery routines.
  • Encouraging children's confidence, independence and social development.
  • Building positive and trusting relationships with children.
  • Supporting individual children where additional guidance may be needed.
  • Promoting positive behaviour and creating a welcoming environment.
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure children receive the best possible support.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
  • Has experience working with children in a nursery, early years or school setting.
  • Is caring, patient and enthusiastic.
  • Has a genuine passion for supporting children's development.
  • Is confident working as part of a team.
  • Is reliable, professional and proactive.
  • Has a good understanding of safeguarding.
  • Is available to work full-time and start ASAP.
Pay & Hours

£92.63 per day

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday
  • 6.5-hour working day
  • 30-minute unpaid lunch break
  • £92.63 daily rate
  • Paid weekly in arrears
  • ASAP start
