Structural Engineer

Location: Broadstone

A well-established UK engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Structural Engineer to join its growing team. The business delivers practical, efficient and high-quality structural solutions across a broad range of building projects and offers a supportive environment with clear development pathways.

Responsibilities

Produce structural designs from concept through to construction, including calculations and technical reports
Design across materials including steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber (project dependent)
Coordinate design information with architects, contractors and internal teams to ensure buildable outcomes
Provide technical support during construction, responding to queries and attending occasional site visits
Contribute to continuous improvement and uphold high technical and quality standards
Requirements

A degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (BEng/MEng or equivalent)
Experience in a UK consultancy
Strong calculation ability and attention to detail, with confidence producing technical deliverables
Clear communication skills and a collaborative, proactive mindset
Progress toward ICE/IStruct

E chartership (or Chartered status) is advantageous but not essential
