Purpose & Scope Of

The Role

We are looking for a GIS Consultant (Early Career) to join our team in Chepstow or Poole. You will support the delivery of high-quality GIS outputs across a varied portfolio, working with colleagues and clients on projects in renewables, construction, offshore environments and oil and gas. This role suits someone with excellent GIS capability, a technical mindset and a keen interest in using spatial data to support accurate, timely project delivery.

Impact In This Position

You will play a key part in producing reliable mapping and spatial data outputs, gathering and checking third-party information, and contributing to offshore environmental impact assessment work. You will also provide technical support to clients, assist in meetings with contractors and stakeholders, and help develop internal technical systems. The role offers exposure to a wide range of projects, including large EIA and UXO-related work, with opportunities to contribute to proposals and support delivery in the UK and globally.

Skills, Qualifications And Experience

A degree in GIS, Environmental Management, Conservation, Earth Sciences, Surveying or a related subject. Knowledge and working experience with ESRI ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online and/or QGIS, alongside an interest in offshore development, permitting and impact assessment.

Working Environment

This role is based in Chepstow or Poole, with hybrid working available. You should expect regular office attendance, typically to three days per week, alongside flexibility to support project needs.
