As a Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll bring complex designs to life, turning innovative concepts into robust, high-performing products used across the world. You’ll take ownership of how things are built—driving smarter assembly methods, introducing innovative tooling, and continually strives for better performance, reliability, and efficiency.

What You’ll Do
Lead the mechanical elements of New Product Introduction (NPI), designing assembly lines, defining efficient assembly methods, tooling, and equipment
Develop and optimise mechanical assembly processes, ensuring repeatability, quality, and efficiency
Apply structured problem-solving to resolve electro-mechanical and production-related issues, including root cause analysis
Drive Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA), improving product robustness, ease of assembly, and cost efficiency
Design and implement jigs, fixtures, and tooling to support safe and efficient production
Analyse production layouts, workflows, and equipment to optimise mechanical build processes and throughput
Work closely with our global design authorities to influence product design and improve manufacturability
Support and train production teams on mechanical assembly techniques, tools, and best practices
What You’ll Bring
Electro-Mechanical Engineering Knowledge:
Strong understanding of mechanical assemblies combined with electrical integration, wiring, and system build
Problem-Solving Capability:
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex production issues across mechanical and electrical domains
Continuous Improvement Mindset:
Experience improving assembly processes, tooling, and product design using structured methodologies
Collaborative Communication:
Confident working cross-functionally with design, production, and quality teams
Experience & Qualifications
Required
HNC or Degree in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience working with electro-mechanical systems in a manufacturing setting
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly documentation
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, production methods and flow Desired
Experience working with electronic systems, including PCB assemblies (through-hole and surface mount)
Experience implementing Lean or Six Sigma practices in a manufacturing environment
