Position:
Test & Applications Engineer (Poole, Dorset). Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 a year.
Our client is a specialist engineering company supplying advanced machinery based in the Poole, Dorset area. They are seeking a Test & Applications Engineer to conduct trials on plastic materials in a laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out pressure testing and feasibility studies on plastic materials.
- Analyse test results.
- Communicate closely with customers via email and phone regarding test results and feasibility.
- Visit customers when required alongside the sales engineer, and in time commission machines throughout the UK & Ireland.
- Previous experience within a test/laboratory related role.
- Ability to work as part of a team with a flexible approach.
- Experience working with plastics is a distinct advantage.
- Qualifications within mechanical engineering, manufacturing or testing are desirable.
- Willingness to travel when required.
- Based in a commutable distance of Poole.
- Salary: £33,000 - £35,000
- Working hours:
Monday to Thursday 08:30 – 17:15, Friday 08:30 – 16:00. - 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays.
- Bonus paid on company performance.
- Pension.
