Accountant. Poole. Salary: £35-40K

Hybrid working after probation

The Role:

This is an exciting role for someone looking to develop their career. The Head of Finance is keen to grow this position to the next level, offering exposure to managing junior team members and a clear progression path, including a potential 10% salary increase by the end of your first year.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of monthly management information (MI) packs

Bank reconciliations using Sage 50
Assisting suppliers with queries and payment details
Cashflow management and forecasting
Credit card and pre-paid card reconciliations
Supporting month-end processes
Preparation of prepayments and accruals

Experience and Qualifications:

Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar finance role
Good working knowledge of Sage 50 or similar accounting software
Strong reconciliation and month-end experience
Studying towards, or keen to study towards, a recognised accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Proactive, organised, and keen to develop professionally
