Position: Finance Assistant (Permanent)

We're recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a busy Head Office finance team based in Poole. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, ideal for an experienced accounts professional looking to develop their career within a stable and well-structured business environment.

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm

Key Responsibilities:

Daily posting of receipts and payments into the cash book

Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations

Purchase ledger invoice processing

Monthly supplier statement reconciliations

Sales ledger posting and reconciliations

Credit control duties

Vehicle invoice processing

Liaising with departmental managers, suppliers, and external auditors

Supporting Management Accountants with month-end processes

What we're looking for:

Previous experience in an accounts or finance role

Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Strong organisational and administrative skills

Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Confident and professional communication skills

A calm, proactive, and methodical approach

Motor trade experience is beneficial but not essential.
