Financial Accountant circa

Position: Financial Accountant circa £60,000
Financial Accountant required for a large organisation in Poole where you will provide financial expertise, governance and reporting. They are looking for a qualified or part-qualified accountant to support a significant accounting standards transition project. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in implementing new requirements while working alongside finance, systems and audit specialists. What You'll Be Doing Leading and supporting the transition to updated accounting standards Gathering, analysing and validating financial data to ensure compliance with new reporting requirements Preparing and documenting accounting processes, journals and adjustments Supporting the production of statutory accounts and year-end reporting Working closely with external auditors to ensure a smooth transition and audit process Delivering guidance and support to finance colleagues and stakeholders on new accounting requirements Assisting with financial systems updates, reporting structures and chart of accounts changes What We're Looking For Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) Strong experience in financial and statutory accounting

Experience of accounting standards implementation projects Understanding of financial controls, governance and reporting processes Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work to deadlines Confident communicator who can work effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders An excellent working environment and range of enhanced benefits is offered along with hybrid working of approx.
