Youll work closely with the Senior Accountant and lead the work of our Management Accountants, helping to drive accuracy, insight, and continuous improvement across the function. What youll be doing Managing the monthend process, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations Producing detailed variance analysis and clear explanations for performance movements Preparing monthly financial performance reports, KPIs, and adhoc analysis for senior stakeholders Supporting and mentoring junior accounting staff, helping to develop capability and best practice Collaborating with department heads on budgeting and forec

Agincare is seeking a qualified Senior Management Accountant to enhance its finance team. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment and seeks to significantly influence a growing organization. The role involves working between the Poole and Portland offices, providing top-notch financial analysis, aiding in strategic decisions, and overseeing management accounting activities. Key responsibilities include managing the month-end process, producing variance analyses, and preparing financial performance reports.

The role also involves mentoring junior staff and collaborating on budgeting aligned to company goals. Candidates should be ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualified with 23 years of management accounting experience and supervisory skills. Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel is essential, along with strong analytical skills and organizational abilities.
