Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Locum Band 5/6 MSK Physiotherapist to join our team in Poole. The role involves working in outpatient physiotherapy clinics, where you will provide expert care for primary care musculoskeletal (MSK) problems and post-operative orthopaedic cases. Your role will also include collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.

What your responsibilities will be for this Physiotherapy role?

As a Locum Band 5/6 MSK Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality physiotherapy services within outpatient clinics. This includes assessing and diagnosing primary care MSK issues and post-operative orthopaedic conditions, formulating and implementing personalised treatment plans, and providing rehabilitation to optimise patient outcomes. You will work closely with patients to educate them about their conditions and the management strategies, while maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.

Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and a commitment to evidence-based practice will be essential in this role.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Relevant experience in MSK physiotherapy, including primary care and post-operative orthopaedics
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
