Deputy Manager

Poole

We are looking for a committed and experienced Deputy Manager In Poole to support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of our children's residential homes. The role focuses on ensuring young people receive high-quality care, support and guidance to help them develop independence and achieve positive outcomes in education, health and future employment.

Main responsibilities:

· Lead and motivate the staff team, promoting positive teamwork and development

· Help deliver high standards of care, support and accommodation for young people

· Build trusting relationships and act as a positive role model

· Work alongside families, schools, health professionals and external agencies

· Support safeguarding practices and ensure policies are followed

· Assist with staff supervision, inductions, rotas and training

· Oversee care plans, reports and young people's records

· Deputise for the Registered Manager when required

· Participate in on-call duties and inspections

Essential Requirements

· Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) or equivalent

· Minimum 2 years' experience in a residential children's home or supported living service

· Full clean driving licence

· Knowledge of safeguarding and children's legislation

· Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills

Working Hours

· Predominantly Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

· Some evenings, weekends and sleep-ins required

· Flexible working to meet service needs
