Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Care South is a not-for-profit charity dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to residents in our homes. We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Clinical Deputy Home Manager to join our team and help lead one of our welcoming residential homes.

About

The Role

As Clinical Deputy Home Manager, you will support the Home Manager in the day‑to‑day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care and safety. You will provide leadership, guidance and supervision to the care team, and take full responsibility for the home in the Manager’s absence. You will also be required to maintain an active NMC registration and practise in accordance with the NMC Code at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Home Manager in leadership and development
  • Oversee assessments for prospective residents
  • Provide supervision and direction to care teams
  • Promote a culture of learning, safety and continuous improvement
  • Liaise with social care regulators and local authorities to ensure satisfactory standards are maintained
  • Assist in maintaining quality control throughout the home
  • Actively promote the services provided by the home
  • Ensure the maintenance of the highest standards of care consistent with the requirements of CQC and Funding Authorities
  • Ensure all aspects of record keeping are maintained in line with current legislation and the policies and procedures of Care South
About You
  • Be currently working at Care Team Leader level or above
  • Have an active NMC Registration
  • Have experience in a residential care setting
  • Demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills
  • Be passionate about person-centred care
