Complex Live In Care Worker

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Live-In Care Worker to provide 24-hour support to an individual with complex care needs in their own home. The live-in carer will work alongside the domiciliary care team, who will provide additional scheduled visits and 2:1 support with personal care where required.

• Provide personal care, including washing, grooming, oral hygiene and dressing
• Support with catheter, stoma and continence care
• Assist with medication as trained and authorised
• Support with repositioning and pressure-area care, including monitoring an existing pressure sore
• Provide nutrition and hydration support in line with the prescribed liquid diet and dysphagia guidance
• Monitor changes in health, pain, breathing, fatigue and general wellbeing and report concerns promptly
• Support with essential household tasks, laundry and maintaining a safe environment
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Work alongside domiciliary carers, family, District Nurses, GP and other healthcare professionals
• Promote dignity, choice and independence wherever possible

The ideal candidate will have experience in live-in or complex care, be confident providing hands‑on personal care, have excellent observation and communication skills, and be comfortable working within a palliative care setting.
