We're looking for a Product Data Lead to join our office-based Procurement team.
What you will be doingYou will be responsible for owning, shaping, and governing the end‑to‑end product data lifecycle across the business in addition to administering product data on a day-to-day basis. Acting as the product data authority, you will ensure that product information is complete, accurate, enriched, compliant and optimised to support sales, marketing, customer experience, supply chain, procurement, finance and operations.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Ownership of Product Data- Define and maintain the organisation's product data strategy, standards, templates, and governance model.
- Design and optimise the product information architecture across ERP and PIM, ensuring scalability, consistent attribute structures, and accurate classification.
- Oversee the lifecycle of product data from creation through enrichment, maintenance, change control and retirement.
- Act as the primary partner for Category Managers, ensuring they have the correct data structures, attributes, technical information and compliance data to manage ranges effectively.
- Work closely with Procurement to streamline onboarding of new products, pricing updates, supplier specification management and critical path adherence.
- Align with Operations, Supply Chain & Warehousing to ensure product structures support ordering, stock management, picking accuracy, UoM standards, matrix items, variants and more.
- Act as the functional product data lead for PIM and ERP systems (e.g., Perfion).
- Oversee product data integration between PIM and ERP, ensuring correct flow, structure and completeness.
- Champion new features, upgrades and process improvements, working with IT, category teams and transformation programmes.
- Oversee and govern product setup accuracy (new items, updates, supersessions, obsoletes).
- Ensure PIM data is complete and up to date.
- Monitor backlog risk, turnaround times, and SLA compliance.
- Establish best‑practice processes and workflow automation where possible.

Whoyou are
- You have proven experience in PIM, product data management, master data and product life cycles.
- You can define standards and processes, ensuring governance and future state improvements to maintain ESG, QA and ISO certifications.
- With advanced proficiency with ERP/CRM and PIM systems, you bring an attention to detail and analytical approach, ensuring data quality.
- Ideally you have worked within FMCG, wholesale distribution or an associated industry.
