Telematics Engineer; Field Based

We are looking for a Telematics Engineer to provide continued support to our growing and established customer base within Poole and surrounding areas.

• Ensure Microlise product portfolio is fully integrated into customers’ assets.
• Conduct timely visits to customer sites to install, service and continue support of our product suite.
• Complete survey visits and identify suitable solutions.
• Perform QA visits on Microlise products and peripherals in customer assets.
• Manage inventory.
• Maintain the safety and upkeep of your vehicle and all provided tools and equipment.
• Communicate with customers at all levels.
• Support peers and contractor resources as required.
• Maintain concise, accurate and professional administration.
• Adhere to all internal processes and procedures.
• Report on statistical information when required.

• Demonstrable experience in a similar role, such as auto electrics and/or telematics.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience working to Service Level Agreements and Operational Schedules.
• Understanding of vehicle wiring diagrams and ability to interpret them.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional approach.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to adjust style to relevant audiences.
• Ability to work autonomously, solve problems independently and adhere to agreed processes.
• Commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Valid passport for travel.

This is a field‑based role working remotely on our customer sites. Field engineers work shifts on a rota basis, including weekends.
