As our
Contracts & Export Manager
, you will direct the Contracts & Export Department and play a key role in ensuring customer orders move smoothly from receipt through to shipment, invoicing, and completion. You will help deliver outstanding service while ensuring compliance with UK & US export regulations. You will ensure the team embodies governance to protect the business from risk.

What will you be doing?

You will:

• Lead and develop a team of Contracts & Export Coordinators.
• Oversee order loading, shipment coordination, and invoicing.
• Ensure compliance with UK & US export control regulations and company policies.
• Monitor departmental performance and identify areas for improvement to aid business growth.
• Reduce operational risk through effective contract and export management.
• Will have strong leadership and people management skills.
• Can balance operational priorities with strategic improvement initiatives.
• Are customer-focused and commercially aware.
• Have experience managing contracts, exports, or complex order fulfilment processes.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving problems.
• Are committed to continuous improvement and compliance excellence.
• Ideally have previous knowledge and experience of UK & US Strategic Goods, and international trade

Direct Reports:You will manage a team of Contracts & Export Coordinators.

Key Areas of Accountability:Order loading. Shipping and invoicing performance. Export and Import compliance and associated risk management.

Departmental service delivery. Team development. Resource planning,and continuous improvement within the Contracts & Export function.
