Night Hygiene Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Night Hygiene Lead to join our team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for leading the hygiene team to ensure the factory meets the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety during night operations.

• Lead and supervise the night hygiene team to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to schedule
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, including HACCP and company procedures
• Carry out cleaning of machinery, production areas, and equipment to required standards
• Complete hygiene documentation accurately and on time
• Conduct inspections and audits to maintain hygiene standards
• Train and support team members to improve performance and consistency
• Ensure safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Liaise with production and technical teams to meet operational requirements

• Previous experience in a hygiene or sanitation role within a food manufacturing environment
• Experience in a supervisory or team leader role
• Good understanding of food safety standards (HACCP knowledge preferred)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure
• Flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic
