Toolmaker Poole Up to £18 per hour Are you a skilled Toolmaker who takes pride in precision, ownership and craftsmanship?
This is a long-term opportunity for a Toolmaker who enjoys hands-on manual machining and wants stability, autonomy and room to develop within a well-established manufacturing environment. Working as a Toolmaker, you will play a key role in producing high-quality bespoke tooling and components, taking full responsibility for your work from drawing to finished part. As a Toolmaker, you will benefit from:

As a Toolmaker, your responsibilities will include:
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to manufacture components accurately
  • Producing bespoke jigs and fixtures to meet machining requirements
  • Operating and programming an XYZ Proto

    TRAK SM milling machine
  • Operating manual milling machines and lathes
  • Inspecting your own work to ensure components meet ISO
    9001 Standard
  • Maintaining excellent housekeeping and adhering to Health & Safety procedures
As a Toolmaker, your experience will include:
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in manual machining, including milling and turning
  • Strong attention to detail with a methodical, quality-driven approach
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Confidence working to deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • A proactive mindset with a desire to learn and develop as a Toolmaker
Working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm, with an early finish on Friday at 2:00pm.
