39 hours per week between the hours of 6pm - 6am (flexible)

Pay: £17 - £18ph + 30% shift allowance for night working

Our client is a long-established family-owned group with multiple sites specializing in high-precision machines and metal treatment services. With continued investment, expansion and a strong order book, they're biw strengthening their night shift team in Poole.

The role:

Set and operate CNC Mill / Turn machines to produce precision components in line with customer drawings
Use FAUNC control systems confidently to manage tooling, offset and machining parameters
Carry out in-process inspection of your own work, ensuring compliance with drawing requirements and SPC standards
Maintain high levels of accuracy, quality, and general engineering competence
Keep your work area clean, organized and compliance with 5C / 5S standards

About you:

Completed a recognized mechanical engineering apprenticeship (or equivalent experience)
Strong engineering background with proven ability as a fully skilled CNC setter / operator
Experience working with FAUNC controls
Familiarity with Nakamura machines and bar-feed systems is advantageous
Aerospace experience is highly desirable
