THE ROLE:

***£12.76–£14.60/hour DOE
*** The Stores Person is a critical role within the business and will become a key member of our manufacturing team with a wide range of duties supporting the purchasing and manufacturing teams to ensure that stock is correctly received and allocated across the site. This position reports to the Purchasing Manager.###

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Responsible for goods in ensuring that deliveries are accurately received, checked, labelled and recorded on Progress Plus.
* Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies.
* Must have a high level of knowledge with Progress Plus processes to maintain accurate stock control, allocations, and issuing of materials to Production
* Unloading and loading deliveries and internal distribution of goods.
* Supporting month end activity, including stock checks.
* Stock rotation.
* Implementing or improving processes and procedures.
* Highlighting material shortages### KEY SKILLS &

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Experience of working in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
* MS Office.
* Work well independently but also as a team.
* Working in adherence with Health and Safety rules.
* Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
* Good team player and excellent communicator.
* Familiarity with inventory management systems.### DESIRABLE

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

* Forklift Licence.
