As an Electrical Quality Control Inspector, you will ensure electrical assemblies meet defined quality, technical, and workmanship standards. You will work closely with production and QA teams to support compliance and continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing process.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Carry out line and roving inspections on electrical assemblies
- Inspect piece parts, cable assemblies, and completed units
- Ensure products meet technical specifications and workmanship standards
- Record and report non-conformances in line with internal processes
- Log inspection results within inspection records and MRP systems
- Support root cause analysis and "Right First Time" initiatives
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to maintain quality output
- Attend and contribute to production and quality meetings
- Experience as an Electrical Quality Control Inspector or similar
- Background in aerospace, defence, or regulated manufacturing
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Experience inspecting electrical or cable assemblies
- Familiar with IPC 610 / IPC 620 standards (ideally certified)
- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to inspection
- Confidence working independently and as part of a team
- Salary up to £35,000
