As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for setting, operating and, where applicable, programming CNC lathes to produce precision parts from technical drawings. You will play a key role in maintaining quality standards, optimising production, and supporting an efficient workshop environment.

• Set and operate CNC lathes to produce precision components.
• Program or edit CNC programs (depending on experience).
• Work from technical drawings to tight tolerances.
• Inspect your own work to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Optimise machining processes to improve efficiency.
• Assist with routine machine maintenance and maintain a safe working environment.

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner (setter, operator or programmer).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience setting tooling, offsets, and making program edits.
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
• Multi‑axis CNC experience is advantageous but not essential.

• £16 to £21 per hour, depending on experience.
