As Bourne Group Ltd celebrates 80 years in business, we’re looking for an experienced Works Manager to join our production team and play a key role in the planning, coordination, and performance of our steel fabrication operations.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established business with a reputation for quality and innovation.

Based onsite at our Poole production facility you will work closely with the Production Manage to oversee production workflows, manage materials and subcontract fabrication activities, supervise yard and production teams, and drive continuous improvement across the facility. You will also play a key role in production planning, performance reporting and championing the use of StruMIS to maximise productivity and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Production or fabrication management experience
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• Experience using StruMIS (or similar production management systems)
• Excellent Excel and reporting capabilities
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
