Previous MIG welding experience Fabrication experience Sheet metal manufacturing experience Ability to read and understand technical drawings Experience supervising or leading a team Experience monitoring performance and maintaining production output Strong understanding of weld quality and inspection standards Good communication and organisational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced workshop environment Experience conducting staff appraisals and disciplinary procedures Health & safety awareness within a manufacturing environment Reliable, punctual, and able to lead by example Desirable:
Previous experience in a Cover Supervisor or Team Leader role Formal welding or fabrication qualifications Experience training or mentoring staff Knowledge of quality control procedures Forklift truck licence Experience working with production schedules and KPIs SSSTS or supervisory qualification First Aid qualification

Experience with in architectural or commercial sheet metal manufacturing Full UK driving licence

Roles & Responsibilities Supervising and supporting the workshop team Maintaining workflow, productivity, and quality standards Monitoring team performance and maintaining production tempo Conducting staff appraisals and disciplinary procedures where required Training and developing team members Carrying out weld inspections and quality checks Supporting daily production and fabrication operations Ensuring health and safety procedures are always followed Requirements As a Fabrication Supervisor, you will also be expected to:
