Are you looking for your next opportunity within a busy manufacturing environment? We are currently recruiting for an experienced Machine Operative to join an established production team in Poole.

This is a hands-on production role suited to someone with experience operating machinery within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for monitoring production, maintaining quality standards and ensuring machinery continues to run efficiently.

As Machine Operative, your duties will include:

Operating and feed various machinery safely and efficiently in line with production requirements
Monitoring machinery throughout the production process and making adjustments where required
Ensuring machinery is running at the correct speeds and maintaining consistent production output
Carrying out regular quality checks to ensure products meet the required standards
Identifying and reporting any machinery, production or quality issues
Monitoring material usage and minimising unnecessary waste
Carrying out machine cleaning and routine housekeeping to maintain a safe and efficient production area
Following production orders and ensuring the correct materials are used and kept appropriately separated
Completing production records and other relevant paperwork accurately
Working to strict health and safety, quality and production procedures
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment

We are looking for a Machine Operative who has:

Previous experience operating production machinery
Good attention to detail and an understanding of quality requirements
Experience working to production targets and deadlines
A good understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environment
The ability to identify issues and communicate them effectively
A reliable, flexible and proactive approach to work
Flexibility to work rotating day and night shifts, including weekends
