Production Controller

This Production Controller role offers £35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience, working within a well-established machine shop that prides itself on getting things right first time.
You'll be the central point of contact for customer orders, keeping every schedule on track from receipt through to delivery.

As a Production Controller, your responsibilities will include:

Manage customer orders from receipt through to delivery, acting as the main point of contact for order status and updates
Liaise closely with engineering teams to confirm feasibility, specifications and production timelines
Plan and monitor capacity across the machine shop to ensure schedules are met
Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts before they affect delivery dates
Maintain accurate production records and provide regular reporting on order progress
Support the wider production team with day-to-day planning and coordination
As a Production Controller, your experience will include:

Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment

Experience with in the aerospace sector is desirable but not essential
A proven track record of customer-facing order management
Confidence liaising directly with engineering teams on technical requirements
A solid understanding of capacity planning within a machine shop setting
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
