Specialist Hygiene Operative

We are on the lookout for a Specialist Hygiene Operative to join our friendly, dynamic team  part of the ABF group, we have ambitious plans for growth over the next 5 years and we need someone with the drive and passion to help us get there.

This is a permanent full-time position, working 39 hours per week, including paid breaks:
Sunday 06:00-16:00, Monday to Wednesday 07:00-15:00, Thursday 07:00-12:00 with Friday and Saturday off.
The salary is £27,106.92 per annum.

• Be Responsible for adhering to safe systems of work processes and acting in a safe manner to always protect the health and safety of yourself and others.
• Follow all Quality systems and procedures to ensure our products meet food safety (HACCP), legal and customer requirements as well as maintaining external Audit standards e.g. BRC
• To carry out cleaning tasks according to schedules and approved techniques and to deal with emergency hygiene situations as and when required
• To be aware of waste streams on site, dispose of waste correctly and to communicate any opportunities to reduce waste therefore making the bakeries more efficient.
• To communicate and share relevant information with other team/shift members to ensure the highest level of cleaning is maintained and that standards are improved and driven forward.
