Team Leader, BHProduction

These are exciting new roles for BH1. The site is entering a period of structured growth and operational improvement, and we are looking for two strong, people-focused Team Leaders who will set the tone for their shift, support their team, uphold standards and help build a positive, organised and high-performing production environment.

This role is ideal for someone with a leadership mindset, someone who naturally supports others, builds trust, communicates clearly and leads by example. You will work directly with the Production Manager and receive full support, coaching and guidance as you grow into the role.

• Lead the team brief at the start of every shift
• Give a clear handover to the Team Leader on the opposite shift so nothing is lost between teams
• Maintain and enforce 5S standards, workplace organisation and operational discipline
• Make sure production targets, quality requirements and Health and Safety standards are met
• Provide a daily shift report on performance, issues and risks to the Production Manager at the daily meeting
• Lead hands-on from the BH1 line, visible, supportive and proactive
• Motivate, coach and develop team members to build a strong, confident workforce
• Deal with operational problems quickly and effectively
• Support the onboarding of new starters and help them settle into the team
• Work closely with the Production Manager on planning, quality and continuous improvement
• Make sure processes, work instructions and company standards are followed

We are looking for people who lead, not just a job title on a CV. Experience as a Team Leader is welcome but not essential. What matters more is:

• A great communicator, confident talking to your team, your fellow Team Leader and management, and clear when you brief, hand over and report
• A real team player who is keen to build a strong, united team and bring people with you
• Strong people skills and the ability to motivate, guide and build trust
• A natural leadership mindset and a willingness to take responsibility
• Confident decision making and problem solving
• An understanding of production processes, quality and H&S standards
• A hands-on approach and readiness to lead by example
• Ability to work the rotating early and late shift pattern
