We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join our clients manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, operating, and monitoring CNC milling machines to produce high-quality precision components in line with engineering drawings and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC milling machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Load tooling, set offsets, and make basic programme adjustments where required.
- Conduct first-off and in-process inspections using measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometres, and gauges.
- Ensure components meet quality and dimensional requirements.
- Carry out routine machine maintenance and housekeeping.
- Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
- Previous experience operating and setting CNC milling machines.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of measuring and inspection equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Fanuc, Heidenhain, or Siemens controls is advantageous
