At Rick Stein Restaurants were all about fresh seafood, simple cooking done brilliantly and making every guest feel genuinely welcome. We are now looking for a confident experienced Head Bar Person to lead our bar team and ensure every guest enjoys exceptional service.

• Leading and supporting the bar team ensuring smooth, efficient and friendly service
• Preparing and serving drinks to a high standard including wines, cocktails, beers and soft drinks
• Creating a welcoming relaxed atmosphere at the bar for every guest
• Training and coaching bar staff in drinks knowledge, upselling and guest engagement
• Managing bar stock, ordering and deliveries to maintain a well-organised bar
• Sharing knowledge of our drinks menu, wines and daily specials with the team and guests
• Taking and processing orders accurately and efficiently
• Ensuring compliance with licensing, health & safety and food hygiene standards
• Collaborating with the restaurant and kitchen teams to maintain smooth service flow

• Previous bar experience in a supervisory or leadership role
• Strong knowledge of drinks, wines and cocktails with the ability to train others
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, inspiring a team to deliver exceptional service
• A friendly positive attitude and genuine love of hospitality
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a busy environment
• Great attention to detail and pride in presentation
• Reliable, team-focused and proactive approach

Rick Stein Sandbanks was opened by Rick Stein and Jill Stein in November 2015, a beautifully bright restaurant enjoying views across the water on Sandbanks Road. Guests can enjoy a casual lunch with classic dishes such as crab salads and moules marinière alongside seafood dishes including Dover sole meunière, turbot hollandaise and fruits de mer.
