Internal Sales Executive - French Speaker Preferred

The OpportunityWe are partnering with a well-established, UK-based manufacturer of high-quality electronic power solutions to recruit an Internal Sales Executive. With a strong reputation for reliability and innovation, our client designs and manufactures robust power conversion products used across automotive, communications, marine, rail and other critical industries. Established for over 40 years, they combine in‑house engineering expertise with fast, responsive customer service and a global distribution network.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a stable, growing organisation where you’ll play a key role in supporting customers and driving sales performance.
As an Internal Sales Executive, you will be a central point of contact for customers, handling enquiries, preparing quotations, and supporting the wider sales function to convert opportunities into orders. Working closely with technical and production teams, you’ll help customers identify the right solutions for their applications while delivering a first‑class customer experience. This role has a real opportunity to grow and have genuine career progression.
Key Responsibilities- Manage incoming sales enquiries via phone and email
- Prepare and follow up on quotations to secure business
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and distributors
- Provide product guidance and basic technical support (full training provided)
- Process orders and liaise with internal teams to ensure timely delivery
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross‑selling
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records
- Collaborate with engineering teams on more complex or bespoke enquiries
- Experience in internal sales, sales support, or a customer‑facing role
- Strong communication skills and a confident telephone manner
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Proactive and commercially minded
- Able to build long‑term relationships with customers
- Interest in technical or engineering products (advantageous but not essential)
