Are you an experienced Account Manager who enjoys building long-term customer relationships & spotting opportunities to grow accounts? We're recruiting for an office-based Account Manager to join a successful sales team in Poole, Dorset.

The Role
As an Account Manager, you'll manage an existing customer portfolio, building strong relationships while identifying opportunities to increase sales & account growth.
You'll be responsible for:
Managing a portfolio of customer accounts
Making proactive outbound calls to strengthen customer relationships
Responding to customer enquiries promptly
Preparing quotations & following opportunities through to completion
Booking appointments for Business Development Managers
Using CRM systems to maintain accurate customer records
Identifying opportunities to increase sales across existing accounts
Monitoring customer feedback & resolving any issues professionally
Working closely with Purchasing, Operations, Finance & Marketing teams
Analysing customer data to identify growth opportunities
Conducting customer account reviews & providing commercial insights
Maintaining excellent service throughout every customer interaction
What we're looking for
To be successful as an Account Manager, you'll have:
Previous experience in an Account Management, Internal Sales or Customer Account role
B2B or B2C sales experience
Strong relationship-building & communication skills
Confidence selling over the phone & in virtual meetings
Commercial awareness with the ability to identify growth opportunities
Experience using CRM systems
Excellent organisation & time management skills
A proactive, self-motivated approach
Strong negotiation & problem-solving abilities
