Pay Rate £13.01 per hour

• Protect customers and colleagues from physical and verbal abuse by providing a reassuring and professional security presence.
• Provide a highly visible security presence easily identified by both customers and colleagues while providing an exceptional level of customer service.
• Proactively deter and prevent anti‑social behaviour, theft and criminal activity.
• Liaise with store management, police and other external agencies when required.
• Utilise conflict resolution to diffuse difficult situations that may arise within the workplace.
• Ensure behaviours and situations that endanger the health, safety and wellbeing of colleagues, customers and fellow officers are identified and rectified in a timely manner in line with company policies.

• Team player with an enthusiastic attitude.
• Able to work independently on own initiative.
• Retail security experience.
• Flexible approach to work to suit business needs and ability to work with different teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capable in the use of technology.
• Ability to identify triggers to conflict along with excellent mediation skills.
• High ethical standards in conduct.
• Conflict resolution trained.
• Frontline Door Supervision or Security Guarding licence essential; CCTV licence beneficial.
• Full UK driving licence beneficial.
• Maximise use of BWCCTV during confrontational situations.
