Family Support Worker

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Family Support Workers to join our team providing Reverse Residential Support to children, young people, and families within their own homes and communities.

Unlike traditional residential care, Reverse Residential Support involves working directly with families in their home environment to provide practical, emotional, and behavioural support. The aim is to help families develop the skills, confidence, and stability needed to create a safe and positive home environment while reducing the need for residential placements.

• Provide direct support to children, young people, and families in their homes and community settings.
• Promote the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of children and young people.
• Support families with daily routines, boundaries, and life skills.
• Encourage positive parenting strategies and family relationships.
• Assist with education, social activities, appointments, and community engagement.
• Support children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs.
• Observe, monitor, and accurately record progress, concerns, and outcomes.
