Priory Beach House has an opportunity for a Bank Support Worker to join our team.
Beach House, Parkstone, Poole, Dorset is a residential assessment and support service for seven males and females with a learning disability, autism and complex needs. It is located within easy reach of Poole and Bournemouth and is accessible by public transport, with local bus routes nearby and Branksome railway station within walking distance, offering direct services to, Weymouth and Poole. Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.
Whatyou'll be doing
You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the service. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, supporting with care requirements, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.
- Ensure that the people who use our service have any personal needs or requirements met; including personal care, participation in activities and support with daily living tasks. To support people who use our service in achieving their outcomes in the way that they choose.
- Complete daily administration including updating person centred support & care plans, updating charts and completing accurate daily notes.
- Maintains professional relationships whilst developing a good rapport with the people who use our service, their family, colleagues, visitors and other stakeholders.
- Through own professional behaviour, including adhering to policies and procedures, contributes to the maintenance of safety, security and confidentiality standards.

What you'll bring to the roleEssential for the role NVQ2 in Health & Social Care or related area or equivalent or higher recognised qualification. GCSE or NVQ2 in English and Maths. N.B. It is not anticipated that all new recruits to the role will have NVQ2 qualification but will commence the attainment process within six months of joining and will have a specific time period in which to qualify.
