Warehouse Administrator

The Warehouse Administrator will provide day-to-day administrative support across the Warehouse function at The Silver Crane Company. This is a role that sits at the heart of our operations, supporting order processing, stock control, and systems administration. The Warehouse Administrator will work closely with the Warehouse Management Team to ensure accurate and timely record-keeping, smooth despatch of customer orders, and strong data hygiene across our systems.
Key Responsibilities Order Processing & Despatch- Process and track outbound sales orders, ensuring accuracy against picking documentation and despatch records.
- Liaise with the warehouse floor to confirm order completion and resolve any discrepancies prior to despatch.
- Raise and file goods-out documentation including delivery notes and packing lists.
- Support investigations into any despatch errors or customer order queries, reporting findings to the Warehouse Operations Manager.
- Support stock control activities including cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and ad‑hoc investigations.
- Maintain accurate stock records within SAP Business One, including goods receipts, stock movements, and inventory adjustments.
- Flag stock discrepancies and assist in root cause investigation.
- Assist in the preparation of stock reports and summaries as required.
- Perform data entry and system updates in SAP Business One (full training will be provided).
- Maintain and update operational spreadsheets and trackers to support daily warehouse activities.
- Produce basic reports on despatch performance, stock accuracy, and order status to support the Operations team.
- Ensure all data is entered accurately and in a timely manner to maintain system integrity.
- Act as an administrative point of contact between the warehouse floor and the Warehouse management team.
- Prepare and distribute daily or weekly operational summaries as directed.
- Attend and support daily stand‑ups and operational meetings, taking notes where required.
- Support the team in maintaining organised and up‑to‑date filing systems (both digital and physical) for all warehouse documentation.
- Support traceability and compliance activities, including retailer audit preparation.
- Ensure all documentation meets internal standards and any relevant customer or regulatory requirements.
- Provide general administrative support to the Warehouse team and wider Operations team.
- Assist with the preparation of internal communications, notices, and training materials as required.
- Carry out any other reasonable administrative duties as requested by the Warehouse management team.
