This role will be responsible for managing various aspects of financial reporting for the Manufacturing business.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities- Month‑end closing.
- Product costing and price variance analysis.
- Analyze actual overheads vs budget and forecast.
- Prepare inventory reports, analysis of variances and perform stock provision workings.
- Assist AFC & FC in forecast and budget preparation.
- Analyze revenue and cost of sales vs budget and forecast.
- Quarterly supplier statement reconciliation.
- Cash and bank management and bank reconciliation.
- Payroll reconciliation and posting.
- Manage tasks related to fiscal year closing.
- Handle statutory and internal audits.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, required.
- CPA or CMA qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
- 6‑10 years’ experience in finance and accounting.
- 6‑10 years’ experience as an accountant in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong Excel knowledge is a must.
- Work experience in SAP is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills; ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Both office environment and occasional manufacturing/factory environment.
- Subject to noise and temperature changes.
- Sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- Occasionally required to stand and walk.
- Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
